The institute was established on 25th August, 2013, to meet the emerging need of skilled diploma engineers and for the development of technical education in the distant tribal area of Andhra Pradesh. The institute is located at the heart of Gummalaxmipuram in Kurupam mandal. At present there are 02 branches of engineering i.e Diploma in Electrical and Electronics Engineering (DEEE) and Diploma in Mechanical Engineering (DME) with an intake of 60 students in each branch. The institute has its own building located in a lush green campus which is spread over 5.5 acres of land. The campus comprises of more than 50 rooms and yet to be procured with most modern equipment based on latest technology for different disciplines of engineering. The institute also has different workshops, library with more than 4000 books, reading room, conference hall. The institute has a boy’s hostel for accommodation and boarding of college students. The diploma courses of this institute are recognized by All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE). Presently, this institute is affiliated to State Board of Technical Education and Training (SBTET),Vijayawada, Andhra Pradesh. It is firmly committed to its responsibility towards the society.
